What is Aoi no Ajisai?

Hi everyone! In case you are wondering why I chose such an oddball of a name for my website, this is due to a couple of reasons..

Aoi no Ajisai is the direct translation of The Blue Hydrangea in Japanese romaji, which is Japanese written in the English alphabet.

( Technically speaking, the proper term should have been "Ajisai no Aoi"- as the noun "hydrangea" should come before its descriptive which was "Aoi" meaning "Blue". I think that the former sounds better though!) :-D )

In Japanese folk-lore, the hydrangea symbolizes earnestness and the communication of one's genuine emotions. It was said that a Japanese Emperor once made a gift of a bouquet of Hydrangeas.

On that note, at Aoi no Ajisai- The Blue Hydrangea Collections, one can find gorgeous gifts that show your genuine appreciation towards family and friends- Sure they may be a little pricey, but that is most certainly outweighed by the love involved in their making!

* In my oil-paintings and drawings, Van Gough Brand oil paints were used and the pieces may last for decades.

*For my jewelry designs, semi-precious stones and hand-crafted findings are matched to perfection.

(
These exclusive pieces are made on a highly selective scale of one to three pieces each, depending on availability.)

# Meet ups are possible, as with bank transfers as well. :-)
